Description
The dogwood tree near our garage was blazing with hot reddish-pink flowers for a few days this spring, and I knew I had to paint them. This painting was surprisingly difficult, with its complex network of branches and small plants on the ground, but I'm so pleased with it.

I'm glad that you are pleased with this painting, because it is gorgeous! All of those details! I believe you when you say that it was difficult to pull off such complexity, but pull it off you most certainly did. I adore the vivid colors and great textures of the blossoms, and how they contrast with the rest. You caught the immense beauty of these trees so well. Great job!
